Kicking Things Off!

It's currently almost 1am on a Monday. I have been building the website and working on this project ever since I had the idea on Saturday. I'm waiting for business hours to start making calls and finding out how to make this vision a reality.

I'll be calling a Librarian in downtown Bakersfield for information about the homeless population, background on the politics surrounding the issue, and any relevant guidance. I'll also be calling the shelters to see if they are open to my coming to do events.

I'm feeling optimistic and excited, filled with the hope for a way to make a difference. 😁💜✨
